Megan Winebrenner is a certified specialty pharmacist (CSP) from Cincinnati, Ohio. As a clinical pharmacy lead for CenterWell Specialty Pharmacy®, she supports multiple clinical programs and oversees the Neuromuscular Center of Excellence.

Education

Winebrenner received her Pharm.D. (doctorate in pharmacy) from Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana. Since it was a professional goal to work with patients with complex conditions, it wasn’t long until she furthered her education by earning her CSP from the Specialty Pharmacy Certification Board.

Past Work

Before joining CenterWell Specialty Pharmacy, Winebrenner worked in a retail setting where she gained valuable experience in pharmacy management. She also worked on the Rare Disease team at CenterWell Specialty Pharmacy before her current role as a clinical pharmacy lead.

Awards and recognition

One of Winebrenner’s most notable professional accomplishments was earning her CSP since working in specialty pharmacy was always a personal goal. Additionally, she is extremely proud of the outcome-driven culture she has helped to create on her team.

Personal life

Winebrenner loves spending time with her family outside the workplace. As an avid traveler, you’ll likely see her planning the next big trip whenever life slows down enough to take a well-earned vacation.
