Marcella Pope is a home delivery pharmacist for CenterWell Pharmacy® in Dayton, Ohio. With 2 decades of experience, she leads a phone team of technicians and pharmacists who work with prescribers to understand patient needs.

Education

Pope studied at Ohio Northern University where she received her Pharm.D. (doctorate in pharmacy). She discovered she wanted to interact with patients on a personal level since working in community-based medicine was always a personal goal.

Past Work

Pope was an intern at CVS and Trumbull Memorial Hospital. During this time, she gained experience in retail and hospital settings. She eventually honed her skills in retail pharmacy after getting promoted to pharmacy manager at CVS, where she earned high honors.

Awards and recognition

Pope has received high praise in her career. Before joining CenterWell Pharmacy, she was named CVS “Preceptor of the Year.” She’s also been recognized several times since joining our team by winning internal accolades like the star and century awards.

Personal life

You can expect to find her volunteering in the Greater Dayton area in her spare time. She also enjoys spending time with her children and husband, who coincidentally works for CenterWell Specialty Pharmacy®.
